An Unmatched Experience
At Yellowstone Wood Boat Tours, we’ve designed an activity that all ages and interests can enjoy. We’ve made sure you and your guests will enjoy all the Yellowstone River has to offer while enjoying a variety of food and drink, ranging from breakfast pastries and fresh orange juice to locally made charcuterie boards. All guests 21+ are welcome to bring spirits, wine, and beer, and we’ll take care of the rest!
Each trip will include custom-catered food, non-alcoholic beverages, and shuttle service for 1 vehicle per boat. Guides will provide ice, wine glasses, corkscrew, select mixers, and bottled water. If you have requests, please let your guide know during planning.

While enjoying an early morning float looking for wildlife, you’ll savor our locally baked pastries, fresh fruit, and great coffee. Our appetizer floats include a delicious charcuterie board to satisfy while taking in the mountain vistas.

The wildlife is abundant on this stretch of river and is home to moose, bears, otters, beavers, and eagles. With picnic-style seating and drinks of your choice, guests can lounge, eat, and enjoy the beauty and wildlife of Montana.

Our veteran guides are not only experts on the oars, they are locals who will provide an authentic interpretive tour ranging from geology, local history, wildlife viewing, natural history, native history, and so much more.

Your guide will greet you and kick off your tour by diving into a range of topics tailored to your group’s interests, spanning wildlife, natural and local history, geology, hydrology, and ecology. Binoculars will be on hand for observing early morning raptors and local wildlife. Indulge in a delectable spread featuring pastries, fresh fruits, orange juice, coffee, and tea. For an enhanced experience, we suggest bringing along your favorite wine, champagne, or spirits to complement the journey.
Appetizers in Alpenglow
Your guide will greet you and begin the tour with engaging discussions tailored to the group’s interests, covering topics such as wildlife, natural and local history, geology, hydrology, and local ecology. Enjoy a lavish charcuterie board featuring an assortment of meats and cheeses, accompanied by a vegetable platter, spreads, and crackers. While we’ll offer a selection of beverages, we suggest enhancing your experience by bringing along your preferred wine, champagne, or spirits.
